Art  and Antiques

           We are a web-based business literally marrying art, (the American professional artist wife ) with antiques,  (the history-loving Amsterdam husband).   In the beginning, while entertaining friends,  we often were asked if they could buy items from our personal furnishings. Amused but agreeable at first, we obliged  and when this habit took over our corporate life, we cofounded Dnd and left the nine-to-five life behind. Following our passion to track the marvelous, business grew rapidly and  today we ship containers to dealers as well as ship individual items to private collectors around the world. The internet allows up-to-the-minute updates on our inventory and the abilty to  fill niches between scheduled dealer buying trip. 

               The DnD 'Invitation List' is the gateway to  noteworthy art-and-antiques-related activity. Please feel free to join our many satisfied clients by opting into our 'Invitation List' with the link to the left sidebar on most pages. Private sale weekends are a popular quarterly event when most items are priced twenty percent below dealer pricing. The selection is  also at peak inventory before goods are shipped, to the US market, where dealers will add a customary retail markup. Decorated rooms, our workshop and the artist atelier are all open for viewing. Visitors can inquire about any aspect of art and antiques they like.

              DnD goes the extra mile to garner quality goods and keep our customers coming back again and again -- distance buyers who appreciate quality items and trustworthy transactions over internet. We once delivered antiques to a top customer in the aftermath of  a hurricane. Not without innovation, we make available a  special dealer link to view goods in advance of container port arrival and protect requests for first option with refundable retainers.  For  art and antiques enthusiasts closer to home, in the vicinity of historic Waterloo, our DnD showroom gives visitors access to three floors of over 500 items of pure antiques, authentic accessories and several galleries of fine art.
